Beautiful and delicious cake. Go for something chocolaty like chocolate mousse. Nice and attentive staffs as well.
great little restaurant for breakfast. we had a crepe and eggs benedict.
The pastries were very good. Especially the pain au chocolat, pain au raisin, and the ham and cheese croissant. We also had the raspberry croissant, eclair, tiramisu, strawberry tart, and millefoglie. My only complaint was that the cream pasticceria was a bit on the lighter side in color and flavor, but that could just be because of the egg problem going on right now. Usually it's a bit more yellow and richer, but it may be harder to get better quality yolks at the moment. I did give it a 5 star though because the flakiness of the croissant, pain au chocolat, and pain au raisin were spot on. Very good.
Excellent food for breakfast. (We've only had breakfast here.) Very nice, accommodating staff for special requests. French cafe style tables. Quiche are very good, but sometimes are not heated enough. Bakery items are also very good. Coffee is not too strong and very good.
Oh, I absolutely love this place! My mother-in-law, who also spoke French fluently, first introduced me to it—and ever since, it’s been my top choice whenever I want something truly special and delicious.
Douce France at Town & Country Village in Palo Alto is a charming, quaint café with consistently good service. The coffee is fantastic, rich, and perfectly made, making it an ideal spot to relax, catch up, or enjoy a peaceful morning break.
Great vibes. I had the misto sandwich and it was delicious, and the guy who took my order and prepared my coffee was so friendly, respectful and nice! The coffee was also great, and they have tables outside and inside. Highly recommend.
Not sure what the bread is on croque monsieur but wow! Absolutely delicious.
A nice, casual French pastry spot with great coffee and pastries. The outdoor seating is lovely, though it can get a bit chilly in the winter. I’ve tried several croissant flavors and loved every one. Highly recommend for a relaxed hangout with friends or some quality alone time.
Great Consignment store, very good collection when we were there. Never have we purchased several pieces of clothing and shoes within a very short period of time, especially at a consignment store (there wasn't any clearance or deep discounts). The collection was really good. Plus there was an upscale brand collection, slightly larger than the usual 2-3 items in stores like these
